Two obvious anomalies are observed on this course:
1° the indication is IX miles between Bordeaux and Blaye. Iti s of course XIX miles which it is advisable to read. It is about the misreading of a copyist omitting the first X . The current original, very degraded, is split just on this site ! This modification is confirmed, for the same segment, by the Route of Antonin who indicates XVIIII leagues correctly.
2° the second error concerns the frequent confusion of the copyist reading X whereas there is only one V badly written (crossing of the jambs). It is between Lamnum and Medilano Santo , where it are registered XIII , where would have to be read VIII . It can as well be a question of a misreading as of an error of copy.

The drawings published interpreted it in " XIII ". The crosswalk makes it possible to conclude in " VIII ".
